I haven’t really had the time or desire to do any work on the software. I might pick it up again someday, but for now I consider it dead. Right now I had heard that the Widget does not work on 10.5 (Thanks John) and the Vista one doesn’t work and is ugly. Well you are all right about the Vista one and since I have stopped running Vista I am not sure that I will get to that any time soon. The Widget I can’t test because I don’t have my own copy of 10.5 and I was going to redirect you to http://www.zerodistortion.org/articles/2007/07/26/osx-satellite-radio-widget/ for the widget there but it seems they also seem to be lacking 10.5. I would though keep an eye on the one I have mentioned and if you have lower than 10.5 go get that one! I believe it to be vastly superior to mine.

Yes, you saw correctly. My PC is now super fun happy Vista time… Not that I really like it, but the Widget is easily ported. So, coming soon: XM Radio Gadget for Windows Vista!

Well, it seems I have gotten stagnate with the development of the XM Widget… So I am going to find the issue with Fav5 not working and that seems about it to be done with it. Stability and the like I don’t have much control over since the Widget relies on Flip4Mac and the XM Radio website. Things that can change without warning to me but if you post a problem in the forum I will do my best to fix it. Heck you could even pickup that text editor and plug away at it yourself. Maybe I should clean the code up before I say go do that? Well, look for a last release from me in the near future.

I have been sitting on it for a while and I know there are some issues, but I figured I would give you all a peak at it… I have just been lazy about updating it. Please sign up on the forums if you want to discuss this on going project. I am not going to approve any comments posted here.

I am off to Vegas for a week! So, while I was waiting around I made a new theme for the time I will be gone! Don’t miss me too badly everyone. Who knows, maybe I will be done my XM Widget soon after I get back! Well wish me luck! I am outta here!

Looks like I have a WIP shot for you all. It’s not there yet and this could change at any moment, but I am cleaning things up and more worried about the code behind it than the front at this point. Without the code behind, We can’t make the front pretty like we want. Right now the front is missing its play and stop buttons along with the volume control. We are thinking about how to make them as small and unobtrusive as possible!

I hear that there may be a new version of my widget on the horizon. But be forwarned! This will be a flip4mac only version. If you are working fine with the old version and WMP please don’t get this one. I just want to save you the headache. Also, wanted to give thanks to Neowin.net’s Liquid for helping me out with the new design. Maybe I will temp you with a screenshot soon!
